MICRODERMABRASION
WHAT IS IT?
A wand delivers a jet of abrasive crystals over the skin. Dead skin particles will be abraded away and a vacuum action will remove debris. Dual action will both resurface the skin and stimulate blood flow.
Studies have shown the improvements can even be seen in the deeper layers of the skin (dermis) giving fantastic results over a course of treatments.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Over the course of your facial treatments a wand is passed over the skin, jetting out aluminium oxide crystal. Dead skin particles will be abraded away and a vacuum action will remove the debris.
This dual action will both resurface the skin and stimulate the blood flow, encouraging the skin to rejuvenate itself and produce collagen and elastin.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE TREATMENT?
The treatment will take between 30 and 45 minutes. You can relax and enjoy a deep facial exfoliation with a light facial massage.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
There is zero downtime with this treatment. You can experience some redness and frosting after the treatment.
HOW LONG WILL RESULTS LAST?
With each of your subsequent treatment, the intensity of the facial microdermabrasion can be increased – reaching to deeper layers and successfully removing acne scarring, lifting pigmentation and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. We recommend an initial course of 4 - 6 sessions. Maintenance sessions can be booked after 6 - 8 weeks.
